Balmain x H&M
Balmain has always been one of my most favorite designer brands, I love the underlying message of strength, power and confidence that creative director Olivier Rousteing pushes in Balmain’s pieces and collections. But the price point has always kept me from owning any item from the coveted brand. In November 2015, fast-fashion retailer H&M partnered with Balmain to create a stunning pinnacle collection and naturally, the collection was sold out in stores and online within hours of the drop. I’ve had my eye on a few items from the colab for some time now, waiting patiently for something in my size to show up in a resale retailer or on a buy/sell/swap site.
Well, I recently got lucky, extremely lucky, browsing through my feed on Poshmark and finding this pair of gorgeous deep teal silk blend velvet pants from the collection for only $45!! Although it’s been several years since the collection debuted, the odds of finding a piece for much less than the retail price (which for these pants was $200) is shocking. I questioned their authenticity at first, but sure enough when they arrived they were the real deal (insert praying hand emoji).
Finding a killer deal on designer clothing is like a drug to me. THANK YOU POSHMARK for making my designer dreams come true.
As always, thank you for reading! XOXO

Those pants look amazing. I have bought many pieces from the collection and found the dresses came up a size small . Just wondering are pants true to size?
Thank you Linda
